Questions about an official Waller County docket or case record belong with the office that maintains the file. District civil, family, tax, and felony records generally begin with the District Clerk. County civil, misdemeanor, probate, juvenile, and mental-health records may begin with the County Clerk, subject to court assignment and access rules. Court coordinators confirm settings, while justice and municipal courts answer for their own matters. The routes below identify where to request records and explain what this private reference resource cannot do.

This Is Not a Court or Government Office. Waller County Court Docket is a private reference resource. It cannot retrieve a docket, change a court date, remove or seal a case, issue a certified copy, or give legal advice. Contact the clerk or assigned court for those needs.

Need an Official Docket or Record?

Match the request to the office and record type before calling. Waller County’s filing and court assignments mean that one clerk does not hold every case.

  • A docket or register: use the county case search, then contact the clerk that maintains the cause if online access fails
  • A hearing date: compare the court calendar with the register and confirm the setting through the assigned court’s coordinator
  • A district document: request the named event from the District Clerk because public district access does not display document images
  • A county-level copy: contact the County Clerk for maintained misdemeanor, civil, probate, juvenile, or mental-health records, subject to access restrictions
  • A JP or municipal matter: contact the justice court or city court printed on the citation or notice

County Clerk Debbie Hollan: 836 Austin Street, Suite 1200, Hempstead, TX 77445; 979-826-7711; countyclerk@wallercounty.us; Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., open through lunch. The County Clerk’s Brookshire annex is at 32225 US Highway 90 Business, Brookshire, TX 77423, but the official page says not to send mail to the annex.

Clerk staff can answer focused factual questions, such as whether a specified case exists, whether a document was filed, whether service returned, whether an order was signed, or whether a jury fee was paid. Waller local rules do not require staff to conduct a broad search of every record tied to a name or to provide legal advice.
